An expansion of the telematic fleet management system e-TRACK, which focuses on the supervision of the safe unloading of silo trucks, was installed on the silo trucks of Lafarge. The purpose of the system is the safety of loading and unloading processes, according to the rather strict safety regulations of Lafarge.

Special equipment is installed on the silo trucks, which in combination with the specialized software within the e-TRACK devices, is aimed towards the tracking of loading and unloading procedures in all its parameters.

Specifically the following functions are provided:

o Supervision of safety regulations’ adherence during the unloading of the silo truck.

o Automatic shut down of unloading in the event a deviation from the safety regulations is detected. 

o Instant notification of all relevant personnel. 

o Analytic recording and presentation of all loading data (raw sensor reading, etc.) 

o Control methodology of the correct use of relevant silo truck equipment (mechanical overpressure valves, tubing, air compressor, etc.)
