| EYATH: A year of successful operation of the e-TRACK & e-FUEL systems |

April 2010 One year of successful operation was completed for the implementation of the fleet management application e-TRACK at the Water and Sewage Company of Thessaloniki (EYATH). EYATH’s fleet consists of 77 vehicles, including technical equipment, trucks, and self-owned vehicles. The telematic fleet management of the organization has special requirements because online supervision occurs not only on 77 vehicles but also on the vehicles’ fuel consumption (e-FUEL). Also, within each vehicle, a driver identification card reader is installed and each authorized driver is issued his/her own digital card, so as to be recognized and recorded. Voice communication between the company and the drivers is accomplished through e-TRACK with the use of special devices permanently installed in the vehicle.
